Do you feel weak, afraid or incapable? Are you focusing on your problems, and scared of surrendering  your weakness to God? Do you want to experience the peace of God?

    May the Lord give strength to his people!

    May the Lord bless his people with peace!

                                                            Psalm 29:11

We serve a sovereign God who has everything under His control. Cry out to Him and lean on Him in times of weakness, He will give you peace. Most times we are tempted to analyze our problems, plan and strategize instead of focusing on God. There is no situation that is beyond God, we just have to be confident in Him that He will calm the stormy seas. Let us hold firmly the truth of God’s word and boldly declare that God is our strength and peace. 

It is necessary that we embrace our weaknesses so that God’s power might be displayed. This serves as a reminder that we need God daily. No matter how vulnerable we are, God’s grace is sufficient for us. And we can say boldly with Saint Paul (2 Corinthians 12:9b) “I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me”. 

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Give God your weakness and He will give you His strength and peace.
