The Catholic Church and the Grave Harm of so-called Gender Theory

A good place to start is by trying my best to explain what the so-called  “gender theory”  actually is. I should also warn parents right here and now, that it is vitally important that you school yourselves in this particular topic, and come to see it for the grave evil that it is. The point, idea, and plan of the social engineering of  “gender theory”  is to groom our children, God’s children ,to be used as sexual objects. “Gender Theory”  is not about how a person feels at all, it is all about removing the dignity of the human person and denying the family unit. It is all about making the human person an object to be used. We need to be razor sharp and crystal clear here folks, this topic is a biggie! For those who live in Ontario Canada, grade 3 students will be learning this garbage starting in September 2015, only 6 months away! Yes, that is right GRADE 3 students in Ontario Canada will be taught about gender theory! Therefore our children, if taught in a public or publicly funded Catholic school will be subject to the question of whether they are actually one of about 6 or 7 genders. That is right, it is not just about boy or girl anymore. “Gender Theory” is all about sexualizing our children, God’s children.

Gender theory is actually something relatively new. In 1949 a radical feminist named Simone de Beauvoir proposed that “existence precedes essence; hence one is not born a woman, but becomes one”.  Pope Benedict XVI replies  to Simone de Beauvoir and her error in his Address to the Curia, on the occasion of Christmas in 2012  “According to this philosophy, sex is no longer a given element of nature, that man has to accept and personally make sense of: it is a social role that we choose for ourselves, while in the past it was chosen for us by society. The profound falsehood of this theory and of the anthropological revolution contained within it is obvious. People dispute the idea that they have a nature, given by their bodily identity, that serves as a defining element of the human being.”  Therefore, gender theory in a nut shell ultimately proposes that our boy parts or our girl parts have absolutely nothing to do with what sex we actually are. Let me key in on the word  “THEORY”. This is not fact. Before long, the social engineer’s will be stating that “gender THEORY”  is actually gender fact. The sex-ed curriculum that will be forced on the children of Ontario in publicly funded schools will be learning that “gender theory”  is actually gender fact.

As parents we are the first educators, not the state. Check here at Parents as First Educators site here in Ontario, this is a great group to support and learn from. PAFE deals with gender facts, not theory. PAFE is on the front line of defense against this onslaught of social engineering that is focussed on attacking children at a most vulnerable age. May Almighty God bless PAFE ‘s work!

We should look at more of what our leaders in the Catholic Church have  recently been saying about so-called “gender theory”. Recently, His Holiness Pope Francis brought up the topic of “gender theory”. Here are some quotes from the pontiff featured in  Andrea Tornielli and Giacomo Galeazzi’s new book  Pope Francis: This Economy Kills:

Let’s think of the nuclear arms, of the possibility to annihilate in a few instants a very high number of human beings. Let’s think also of genetic manipulation, of the manipulation of life, or of the gender theory, that does not recognize the order of creation. With this attitude, man commits a new sin, that against God the Creator. The true custody of creation does not have anything to do with the ideologies that consider man like an accident, like a problem to eliminate. God has placed man and woman and the summit of creation and has entrusted them with the earth. The design of the Creator is written in nature.

This is not all that His Holiness Pope Francis has stated about the evils of “gender theory”. Pope Francis also describes this as “ideological colonization” and added that “the same was done by the dictators of the last century. … think of Hitler Youth.”(my emphasis).

Let us also look to the recently canonised Saint John Paul II’s  homeland of Poland and see what the Bishops conference has to say about the so-called “gender theory”. The letter written by the Bishops of Poland read in all churches on Dec. 29, 2013, said the concept of gender was “deeply destructive” to “the person, inter-human relations and all social life,” and called on Poles to resist it. It also states here In their letter, the bishops said the “ideology of gender” was “strongly rooted in Marxism and neo-Marxism” and had been promoted in Poland “for several months” by “vocal circles with considerable financial means” who wanted to “experiment on children.” “God created men and women — with the great and indispensable gift that, in body and spirit, they should be men for women, and women for men, assigned to married life,” the pastoral letter noted. “It must therefore arouse the greatest concern that an attempt is now being made to redefine marriage and family, especially by supporters of this ideology of gender.” – See more at: osv.com

The Italian Bishops have also spoken up on this topic, we should listen up. Here from CNA we read from .-” The general secretary of the Italian bishops conference stressed on Friday that the attempt to introduce textbooks into the nation’s schools that present gender theory as a fact are an effort to turn biological data upside down.” Please, I encourage those reading to check these sources. Many of our leaders are speaking very loudly and denouncing this grave evil.

What can we do about this? We need to educate ourselves and our children on what Catholic teaching is regarding GENDER FACT. Enough of the theory and fiction, let us look to Divinely revealed facts from Holy Scripture. From the very first chapter in Genesis we read  [27] And God created man to his own image: to the image of God he created him: male and female he created them. [28] And God blessed them, saying: Increase and multiply,…( my highlighted emphasis added). It would do well to memorize these most important verses that communicate Gods teaching. Holy Scripture teaches that God created us as male and female period, not two-spirited, trans-gender, homosexual, asexual, lesbian, gay, bisexual and the list keeps growing. Men are men, women are women period.

Should we have compassion on those who struggle with sexual identity? Yes, of course! We need to show them love, compassion, and understanding. Love and truth should never ever be opposed to one another ; the same goes for faith and reason. These people, whoever they are that may have some sexual identity confusion are welcome in the Catholic Church. At the same time, they should try to understand that the Catholic Church’s teachings are Divinely revealed and have the soul purpose of helping us to get to heaven. Our teachings cannot and will not change to suit the latest social construct. God does not change, nor do His teachings.

The Ontario government wants to go against natural law and teach this , featured below in GRADE 3.  Notice how they sneak in  “gender identity and sexual orientation”, let us remember this is  GRADE 3 teaching starting this September 2015.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches that:

III. “MALE AND FEMALE HE CREATED THEM”

Equality and difference willed by God

369 Man and woman have been created, which is to say, willed by God: on the one hand, in perfect equality as human persons; on the other, in their respective beings as man and woman. “Being man” or “being woman” is a reality which is good and willed by God: man and woman possess an inalienable dignity which comes to them immediately from God their Creator.240 Man and woman are both with one and the same dignity “in the image of God”. In their “being-man” and “being-woman”, they reflect the Creator’s wisdom and goodness.

This beautiful fact  taken from the Catechism :

“Each for the other” – “A unity in two”

371 God created man and woman together and willed each for the other. the Word of God gives us to understand this through various features of the sacred text. “It is not good that the man should be alone. I will make him a helper fit for him.”242 None of the animals can be man’s partner.243 The woman God “fashions” from the man’s rib and brings to him elicits on the man’s part a cry of wonder, an exclamation of love and communion: “This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh.”244 Man discovers woman as another “I”, sharing the same humanity.

372 Man and woman were made “for each other” – not that God left them half-made and incomplete: he created them to be a communion of persons, in which each can be “helpmate” to the other, for they are equal as persons (“bone of my bones. . .”) and complementary as masculine and feminine. In marriage God unites them in such a way that, by forming “one flesh”,245 they can transmit human life: “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth.”246 By transmitting human life to their descendants, man and woman as spouses and parents co-operate in a unique way in the Creator’s work.247

373 In God’s plan man and woman have the vocation of “subduing” the earth248 as stewards of God. This sovereignty is not to be an arbitrary and destructive domination. God calls man and woman, made in the image of the Creator “who loves everything that exists”,249 to share in his providence toward other creatures; hence their responsibility for the world God has entrusted to them.

These teachings from the Catechism of the Catholic Church are fact, not theory. These are the teachings that we as parents need to teach our children. The so-called “gender theory” is directly opposed to God and His teachings. When I read what the Church teaches about man and woman, it stirs my heart to love Him more. When I read this, it reminds me that God has a specific plan custom made just for me because He loves me. Part of Gods plan is that I am a man ! He has a plan for you as well, He has a plan for all of us! He literally loved us into existence, we cannot deny this fact!

I hope this post helped a little. I have learned a lot researching 0n this topic, and I will continue to research it and share my results with you.

May Almighty God Bless you, and protect you from the world, the devil, yourself, and the gender theorists
